Virb.
I hate Myspace. I only have an account there because I have friends that will contact me in no other way.

Now, here is the (just out of beta) latest competitor for the hearts and minds of Myspacers everywhere.

Virb is, at least, far more tasteful than Myspace, and as such, it will probably fail. But I WANT it to succeed. Myspace is the current incarnation of Geocities; the slum of the web.

Myspace is made of aids, yes... it's dirty and tasteless... but that's what makes it so wonderful.

The only thing positive I can say about MySpace is that there are a lot of people and bands on it.

But seriously, the MySpace's aesthetics are trapped in 1995. It's like they decided that the HTML standard only includes the blink and marquee tags.

i'm doing well. briefly... i'm getting married, eddie's going to have a little brother (he's due july 5th), and eddie is doing great! eddie, who's three, is an electronics whiz learning how to speak german, english, and spanish. :)
